My name is Amy and this is my little corner of the world. The name of my shop, Helen Ethel Studio, is an homage to my grandmother, Helen, who continues to serve as a constant inspiration to me both in my work and in the way I live my life. She, along with an incredibly supportive family, never stopped nurturing my creativity ever since I could pick up a crayon. My formal background in Art History also serves as inspiration in my jewelry designs. A self taught jewelry artisan, I work primarily in polymer clay along with various other media, including metals, resin, and precious stones. Armed with a meticulous attention to detail, I am constantly educating myself and experimenting with the craft. Though raised in the fresh country air and woodlands of central Pennsylvania, I've called Philadelphia my home for nearly ten years. Here I spend my days crafting alongside a very patient husband and our little beagle, Heidi in Wayne, Pennsylvania.
